Snowy and a new character, Tlak. Both being white wolves (Tlak's markings are minimal), I wanted to make sure that they could be distinguished physically, since I couldn't very well rely on markings alone to differentiate them. The fact that one's female and the other's male helped immensely, of course.
Coincidentally, these two could never actually meet like this -- Tlak comes from a later storyline than Snowy.
Tablet + Photoshop. Hours = what, five or something? Beats me, really, but it was only a few days of working sporadically.
I can definitely see the difference, other than a similar hue, they're really nothing alike. It takes some pretty spiffy design skills to do that, exemplary work. Not to mention Snowy's expression is beyond awesome. XD

Wow, that looks great. I love the expression on both their faces, especially Snowy's annoyed one.
I'm glad to see an upload from you since I absolutely adore your art being a fellow wolf lover myself.

Nice distinctions there! I'm still working on getting my male albino zebras not to appear as the same albino zebra myself. I can generally tell who your characters are even uncolored and without extensive markings- you're just good like that.
I like his "whaat?" expression and her angry one. I notice it helps distinguish alot by choosing what theme the white is in, like his creamish tone white and her off blue tone white. Very awesome

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
